The food scene in Indianapolis is flourishing, leading foodies to flock to the city.

Even Food & Wine Magazine has noticed, naming Indianapolis as one of America's 32 places to go (and eat) in 2019. To all of our residents at Honey Creek, don't miss the chance to dine locally at these Indianapolis restaurants.

Tinker Street Restaurant & Wine Bar

Set in an urban cottage, this cozy spot is filled with flavors to suit all diets, from vegans to carnivores. Dishes are imaginative, and there are wines to match every bite. Try signature delights like the sakura pork belly, tater tots and caviar, escargot ravioli, or the vegan ancho rubbed cauliflower steak. Finish things off with a slice of Harvey Wallbanger cake, a red velvet brownie, or ricotta doughnuts.

If your taste buds are screaming for Cajun creole food, then Yats is the Indianapolis restaurant for you. Not only is it extremely laid-back, but it's also very affordable. Plus, you'll never know what's on the menu, as it changes on a daily basis. Things you may find on the daily menu include the signature chilli cheese étouffée with crawfish, chicken creole, vegan white chilli, and spinach and mushroom étouffée.

Jockamo Upper Crust Pizza

Who doesn't love pizza? Specializing in gourmet pies, Jockamo Upper Crust Pizza has a selection of creative pizzas, including the Baja with its salsa and jalapeños, Thai with spicy peanut sauce and smoked gouda, and Creole that comes complete with étouffée sauce, smoked Cajun sausage, and crawfish. Not in the mood for pizza? Go for one of their delicious sandwiches or salads instead.

Union 50

There's a reason why Union 50 was listed as one of OpenTable's Top 100 Hot Spot Restaurants in America for 2017, and it's obvious the minute you walk through the door. This lively, chef-driven eatery has a creative menu that changes every season to highlight the freshest ingredients of the time. The idea is to order multiple dishes to share with the whole table, so everyone gets to taste a little bit of everything. Things to expect include rock shrimp and mussel chowder, kimchi meatloaf, nori tuna, and roasted bone marrow.
